Beautiful Winter Wedding at Heron Hill

Love knows no bounds, and on a picturesque February day in Gilbert, South Carolina, Austin and Scott embarked on a journey to celebrate their commitment amidst the serene beauty of Heron Hill. Surrounded by loved ones, they exchanged vows, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. Let's take a closer look at the magic that unfolded on this special day.

This wedding was so special to me since I have known the bride and her family for MANY years (at this point, it’s safe to say the majority of my life!) There were several times where I fought back some tears.

Getting to be by Austin’s side as she prepared to marry the man of her dreams was so emotional. Especially when it came time for her to spend a moment with her older fabulous brother, and one of my dearest friends. They are a mess!

Let’s take a moment for this fabulous wedding party. They were such a fun and lively crew all day long. Loved being around them all so much.

Ok, let’s talk about this cake. How stinkin’ cute are those dog cake toppers?! So pretty!

Flowers? Minibottles? Why not both!

The ceremony itself was a heartfelt expression of Austin and Scott's love and commitment to each other. Against the backdrop of Heron Hill's natural beauty, they exchanged vows, promising to stand by each other through thick and thin, in sickness and in health. There wasn't a dry eye in the audience as they sealed their love with a tender kiss, surrounded by the blessings of those who held them dear.

The weather had kind of been spotty all day. In fact, we were all worried the bottom was going to fall out during the ceremony. It didn’t, we made it, but as the clouds were starting to move out and the sky was opening up, it gave us this amazing sunset. So we had to sneak away for a quick moment!

Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a reception that was nothing short of magical. The venue's rustic charm was complemented by elegant décor, with soft candlelight and delicate floral arrangements adorning the tables. Laughter and conversation filled the air as friends and family gathered to celebrate the newlyweds.

Of course, no wedding would be complete without delicious food and drink, and Austin and Scott's celebration was no exception. Guests were treated to a sumptuous feast, featuring local delicacies and classic favorites, expertly prepared and served with care. From savory appetizers to decadent desserts, every bite was a delight to the senses.

It was such a beautiful day and I am so thankful that Austin and Scott chose me to capture all of the special moments. It was such an honor and I am over the moon excited for them. Congratulations!!!
